On Feb 18th, 2016 (Thursday), all eyes were soothed by the experience of a noble event called ?Happy School?. This event was inaugurated by our honorable chief guest, the Mayor of Durgapur, Sri Apurba Mukherjee.
This day will mark the celebration of Pinnacle?s successfully achieving its mission of adopting a local school and upgrade its current condition and facilitate the school with all the amenities and aides it requires. Pinnacle has showered its graciousness by adopting Bidhannagar Free Primary School in order to proliferate its cornerstone from its core. Pinnacle has successfully executed several noteworthy programs for the welfare of this former mentioned educational institute.
Initially Pinnacle installed a fully equipped computer class, a well-organized principal?s room providing all the fundamental requirements. Some other contributions which have been imparted are a well set up Teacher?s room, a fully book stuffed library, a well pained infrastructure, also rendering wires on the fence all around, well embellished playgrounds in the front and backside of the school so that students can have joyous experience.
The Inner Wheel Club of Durgapur also stretched its helping hand by providing support to achieve this mission. Two separate bathrooms for both boys and girls have also been reconstructed. Proper sanitary controls concerning to the water supply system has been solved by adopting appropriate measures. Inner Wheel Club of Durgapur also supported Pinnacle in organizing several workshops on the health and hygiene; sit ?n? draw competitions, etc. at the school premises. Inner Wheel Club has also partnered Pinnacle to distribute books and uniforms among all the students.

Outcome
1. Painting work done, for well maintained and secured school building
- The interior and exterior of the school building were painted vibrantly
- Boundary wall constructed and the height of the wall extended, along with barbed wire fencing and main gate
2. Clean and separate toilet facilities were provided for boys and girls along with all required amenities
3. Arrangement made for Safe and adequate drinking water
- Four water taps were set up to provide clean drinking water to all 175 students
- Two separate water tanks were constructed to ensure the source of safe drinking water
- Plumbing works were done to maintain smooth flow of water around the school premises
4. Sports and game materials
- Two playground have been constructed
- Field dressing work has been done with mud filling
5. Well maintained staff room and well equipped Principal?s office were setup
- 10 no. of tables and chairs were provided for Teachers? conference
