Nari Vigyanik Shakti
On March 6th, 2024, Ankuran’s Durgapur Science Centre, in collaboration with Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, hosted the “Nari Vigyanik Shakti” programme to empower girls in science education.
The event brought together 43 girls from various schools, offering them an opportunity to engage with science through hands-on demonstrations in physics, chemistry, and biology. Dedicated faculty members led these demonstrations, providing practical insights that deepened the students’ understanding of scientific concepts.
This initiative fostered scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong interest in science among the participating girls.
