Ankuran Science Centre, Trichy: Foundation Stone Laid by Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Tamil Nadu

Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Tamil Nadu, laid the foundation stone of the Ankuran Science Centre in Trichy on July 31st, 2024. The Tamil Nadu Model Schools Society, a government agency, has granted Ankuran Foundation the right to use this land exclusively for the Science Centre for 30 years, with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement.

The Ankuran Science Centre in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, is strategically located within the Govt Adi Dravidar Boys HR Sec School premises on a 37,660 sq. ft. (0.846 acres) land parcel at Venugopal Nagar, PappakurichiKattur. This centre is very easily accessible and well-connected.Surrounded by schools and colleges, it offers collaborative opportunities with 24 nearby schools, catering to approximately 10,000 students. The centre also features child-friendly outdoor spaces and is equipped with internet access to support a comprehensive learning environment.
