Ankuran Science Master Classes -

“Young Stem - Rooted in Science”

In these special classes, theory lectures are followed by experiments to reinforce learning through practical application. This approach targets students in Grades 6 to 8 (CBSE) and Grades 9 and 10 (West Bengal Board of Secondary Education) to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in Math and Science.

Primary Highlights

Provide holistic science education that integrates both theoretical concepts and practical applications.

Programmes

Foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and scientific exploration through hands-on experimentation.

Programmes

Prepare students for academic excellence and future careers in science-related fields.

Session Duration

This programme features four classes per week, each lasting 1.5 hours.

Science Remedial Classes for Students of V to X

(Vigyan Jyoti)

We offer specialised science remedial classes through the Vigyan Jyoti program, designed to support community children in rural areas.

These practical, demonstrative sessions are conducted twice a week at Vigyan Jyoti Centres and cater to students from Class V to Class X. Around 127 children from marginalised communities attend these classes in 2023-24.

Key Outcomes Of the Event

Reduced fear and increased interest in science among students.

Enhanced understanding of scientific concepts through hands-on learning.

Improved retention of knowledge due to practical application.

Empowerment of marginalised students through accessible education in their own communities.

Science for Community

The Science for community programme is designed to empower individuals of all ages through hands-on science education. By offering practical demonstrations in physics, chemistry, and biology, this initiative fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. Participants engage directly with science, gaining valuable insights that bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Our expert faculty members guide the participants through interactive sessions, ensuring that the knowledge gained is both accessible and impactful. Science for community aims to spark a passion for scientific exploration and equip individuals with the skills needed to navigate the ever-evolving world of science.
